Coaching & Team Coaching
Conversations About Coaching
Daryll Scott is a behavioural change expert who works as a consultant, psychological performance coach and systemic team coach.
He has 30 years of experience as an entrepreneurial business leader and 20 years of experience as a coach and consultant, helping individuals and teams overcome challenges, create change, and achieve high performance.
He achieves dramatic change by focusing on unconscious influences and behaviours and is often asked to help with creativity, interpersonal communication, authentic leadership and team dysfunction. He is an inductive thinker who designs solutions and interventions based on concrete experience and can navigate most organisational contexts.
Previous clients include Apple, Barclays, Deloitte, GSK, Nuffield Health, Pret-A-Manger and Virgin Atlantic.
A MAGICAL APPROACH
Daryll's coaching style has been described as disruptive, creative and authentic.
The biggest obstacle to progress is working on the wrong problem. It's a quirk of psychology that we repeat the same old approaches to fix or cope whilst the real problem remains invisible - hiding in plain sight. With Daryll, you'll discover how biased conscious reasoning gets in your way and expose the lightbulb moments that become a catalyst for long-term change.
He believes that sticking to logical, sensible and measured approaches is ineffective because sticky problems are often counter-intuitive, rational solutions have invariably been explored already, and some challenges are too important to take seriously.
Through the magic of counter-intuitive psychology, misdirection and suggestion, he effectively helps people and organisations find the answers to the questions that had previously eluded them in a way that has been described as magic without the theatre.
"Daryll is an 'epiphanist' - every time I talk to him I have an epiphany."

What's the experience like?
Challenging
You will get to the real problem and discover what’s holding you back. In most cases, it's not what you think.
It is not an uncomfortable process, but it does require courage and humility.
Creative
We will take a variety of creative approaches to overcome your challenges, including playing high-performance games, pondering riddles, and using your imagination to gain new perspectives.
Fun
We will laugh in the face of challenges because some things are too important to take seriously.
When you can laugh at a problem, you can change it.

PERSONAL PSYCHOLOGICAL COACHING
“Even the finest sword plunged into salt water will rust.” Sun Tzu
We are living in extraordinary times, and our ability to navigate our changing world is enabled or sabotaged by our mindset, our motivation levels and our behaviour, all of which are a product of our state of mind.
Unlike most coaches, Daryll works with the unconscious process that can create problematic mind-states and helps you to develop a mindset for today's psychologically demanding contexts.
